Fire-Resistant Rubber Belts

Self-Extinguishing, Anti-Static, and Oil-Resistant Solutions for Fire-Sensitive Sites
In industries where heat, static, or combustible dust pose a hazard, safety must come first. Leopard Intertrade’s flame retardant and fire resistant conveyor belts are engineered with self-extinguishing compounds, anti-static properties, and in select grades, oil resistance — making them ideal for power plants, underground mines, biomass facilities, and other high-risk environments.
Our product range includes:
-
DIN K: Flame and oil resistant, anti-static belts certified to DIN standards
-
SUPER BLAK GS (2A): A high-performance grade offering combined flame and oil resistance, aligned with ISO and DIN protocols
All belts are tested for flame propagation, static conductivity, and mechanical strength to ensure compliance with DIN 22102-K, DIN 22103, DIN 22104, and ISO 340.
Self-Extinguishing
Designed to prevent flame propagation after ignition. Tested to meet ISO 340 criteria for after-flame time, group average, and airflow safety.
Anti-Static Certified
Surface resistivity ≤3×10⁸ Ω in accordance with ISO 284, protecting against electrostatic ignition in enclosed or dusty systems.
Optional Oil Resistance
S. BLAK GS (2A) provides combined flame and oil resistance, making it suitable for dual-risk environments like recycling or incinerator operations.
Grade | Standard | Compound | Flame Resistance | Surface Resistivity | Abrasion (mm³) | Tensile Strength (MPa) | Elongation (%) | Key Applications |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
S. BLAK GS (2A) | DIN 22102-K | SBR/NBR/CR | Group avg ≤45 s / Single ≤15 s / No reignition | ≤3×10⁸ Ω | ≤200 | ≥14 | ≥350 | Fire + oil risk zones such as recycling, cement, fertiliser, and chemical plants. |
DIN K | DIN 22102-K | SBR/CR | Group avg ≤45 s / Single ≤15 s / No reignition | ≤3×10⁸ Ω | ≤200 | ≥16 | ≥350 | Standard fire-risk areas such as power plants, incinerators, and biomass lines.

Note Flame resistance was tested according to ISO 340, using six belt specimens exposed to direct flame followed by air current. Compliance requires no flame reignition, a group average after-flame time of ≤45 seconds, and no single value exceeding 15 seconds. Surface resistivity was tested per ISO 284, requiring a maximum surface resistance of 3×10⁸ Ω to ensure anti-static performance in dust-prone or explosive environments.
